$7!

I am one of the many thousands addicted to Pinterest ;) and one day I was searching through baby shower diy projects and ran across a golf themed diaper cake! I quickly found out that they cost approximately $45 + shipping if you have someone else create it for you. Otherwise it still costs about the same if you design it yourself.

But I found a way to make it, and it only cost $7! 

Since this was for my better half, inspired by his three golf club sets strewn about the house and his love for the game. I was able to use items that we had already been given. 

I am all about gifts that are practical, but still make a good statement. So I created a small centerpiece using these items:

Mini Golf Club Set: $5 (Walmart)

Newborn Diapers: $0 (Gift)

1 Medium sized blanket: $0 (Gift)

"It's a girl ribbon.": $1 (Dollar General)

Ribbon: ($.99 Store)

Steps to create it: 

1. Wrap a small to medium sized blanket around the center of the golf club set (use 1 rubber band to hold it in place.)

2. Tuck small sized diapers underneath the top and bottom of the blanket (again hold those in place with a few rubber bands.)

3. Place ribbon around the exposed rubber bands

4. Add pin if necessary 

5. Add one sock to each of the tops of the golf clubs
